Oh baby!

I had some of my first experiences taking pictures of babies and what an experience! I really had a good time trying to get the babies attention and seeing the cute faces they make. They were intrigued but the bright flashes! I really enjoyed taking pictures of the babies so if you know of anyone that has a newborn or a young child, let them know I would love to get together with them to capture portraits of their children at this timeless age!

C&A Trees Christmas

C&A Trees has certainly done their part in keeping Clarion County looking beautiful! The owners of C&A Trees recently asked me to take pictures of their son for the front of their Christmas card. We had a good time taking pictures and I had the opportunity to take pictures in an empty greenhouse filled with poinsettias. After the greenhouse we bundled up and headed for the woods for a few more pictures under the snow covered trees. Just the view of the trees in the woods was so beautiful and relaxing to look at.

So if you are one of the customers from C&A Trees that receives their Christmas card you will see one of the pictures that I took of Cameron that day.

Rt 157 Archery World

Attention all archery hunters! Be amazed at the world's largest indoor archery range! It just opened up in Venus, PA and I had the chance to attend the opening day and check out this 3D range first hand. It's called Route 157 Archery World.

Now I may not be much of a hunter but I was still very amazed with the size and quality of this range. While I was there I had the chance to meet the designer of their webpage from Erie, PA. Ryan Raines of Raines Custom Design which has a very clean design and is worth checking out if you need any design work done!

Gabby & Olivia

I had the chance to take some Christmas pictures of two beautiful little girls named Gabby (older) and Olivia (younger). We had a lot of fun taking the pictures and had very little problems with cooperation. There were a few minutes when I quickly found out which of the girls had not had a nap that day! But in result I really feel like I captured the moment with that.

After the Christmas pictures we switched holidays and did their pictures in their Halloween outfits. Gabby was a spitting image of Madeline and Olivia was Jo Jo the Clown!

The more I get to spend time with children and take photographs of them, the more it fills me with joy to be able to do what I want to do!

Sun Soaked Sam

This weekend my Uncle Sam and his family were in town. I get a lot of my artistic talent from him and we share many other things in common. One thing is we have the ability to fall asleep at almost any given time. While my aunt and I were researching cell phones and "the girls" (my cousins) were deeply involved with a serious game of Mario Party 8 on the Wii, I jsut so happened to glance outside to see Sam sleeping with almost a glow emitting from the golden rays that tell us, the day will soon be over.

Meaning of Plog

plog - (noun) 1. A conjunction using the words 'photo' and 'blog.' A blog using photographs.

Welcome to Brett Whitling's plog! I will be your host and you can all just refer to me as Mr. Brett. The reason I started this plog is I want to show people my photographs and also to give a little bit of incite on how and where I found the photograph. Also I might include, how I got the shot or maybe a little story about what was going on at the time. Feel free to ask questions at any time and enjoy the refreshments in the back! Thank you!

Oh, and also I am supposed to mention that there is a Red Ford Ranger in the parking lot with its headlights on... Thank you!

Mr. Brett
